The board of directors is comprised of paramedics, HCAPE Executive Board and local professional passionate about the mission of the HCAPE Foundation. All members are dedicated to raising awareness of mental health issues in the public safety community and to increasing workforce capacity and diversity through the activities of the foundation.

Mission
Mission Statement
The mission of the HCAPE Foundation is to increase workforce capacity and diversity by providing educational scholarship opportunities for those entering the field (paramedic and EMT), by creating wellness opportunities for those in the field (paramedic and EMT) and by increasing community support and connectedness.
Goals
To increase workforce capacity and diversity through educational opportunities for those entering the field of EMS (EMR through Paramedic).
To promote development of citizens who come from underserved communities and provide the opportunity for those citizens to advance into a sustainable career of service to their communities
Raise awareness and address mental health and wellness issues that afflict HCAPE members and public safety in general by creating wellness opportunities for those in the field.
Increase community support of our members and connectedness.
